Canadian folk-rock artist, The Hope State (moniker of Taylor Johnson), has released his second single from EP ‘Skeletons‘.
Titled ‘Butterflies‘, Taylor elaborates that the track is “about that feeling you get when you first meet someone, that feeling in your stomach that won’t go away. The story also mirrors as a battle with drugs and the crushing guilt that comes with that. Being so sick of yourself, but not knowing how to stop and hoping for a transformation“.
Second single to be released from EP ‘Skeletons‘, ‘Butterflies‘ follows up from the release of ‘Just Survived‘ which was released earlier this year.
